1 pound ground beef
1 cup chopped yellow onion
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/4 cup chopped red bell pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed beef consommé
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon brown sugar
8 hamburger buns, split

Instructions
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add ground beef, onion, and bell peppers.
Cook, breaking up the beef with a spoon, until the beef is browned and the vegetables are softened, about -minutes.
Drain off any excess grease.
Stir in garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper.
Cook for minute more until fragrant.
Pour in the condensed beef consommé, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and brown sugar.
Stir to combine.
Bring the mixture to a simmer, then reduce heat to low and cook, uncovered, for -minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened.
Spoon the sloppy joe mixture onto the bottom halves of the hamburger buns.
Top with the other halves of the buns.
Serve immediately.
