- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Arrange pecan halves in the bottom of the unbaked pie crust.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together corn syrup, granulated sugar, beaten eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
- Pour the filling evenly over the pecans in the pie crust.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set and the crust is golden brown. If the crust starts to brown too quickly, you can loosely tent it with aluminum foil.
- Let the pie cool completely on a wire rack before slicing and serving.
Tips & Notes
For a richer flavor, you can toast the pecans lightly before adding them to the pie. If you don't have pecan halves, chopped pecans will also work. Ensure the pie is completely cooled before slicing to prevent it from falling apart.
